Annual Report 2023-2024
At QCOSS, we have a big, audacious goal of equality, opportunity and wellbeing for all Queenslanders. We’re optimistic, because to realise this goal, we have to be. Our 2023-24 annual report shows that optimism in action during a tough year.
Annual Report 2022-2023
In a year that the tenacity and resilience of the sector was so evident, it’s been humbling to collaborate with and advocate for the organisations who are there for Queenslanders when things get tough. In that vein, 2022-23 was a year where QCOSS celebrated the work, and workers, of our sector.
Annual Report 2021-2022
Key political milestones saw 2021-22 finish strongly for QCOSS and our members, with the federal election in May 2022 and Queensland Budget in June 2022 driving extensive advocacy for more social housing investment, increases to income support payments and cost of living relief.
Annual Report 2020-2021
In a year where we have all faced personal and professional challenges, the QCOSS movement has worked consistently and optimistically toward our unifying vision of equality, opportunity and wellbeing for all Queenslanders.
Annual Report 2019-2020
The economic and health crisis caused by the pandemic has reinforced the importance and role of QCOSS – as a channel for information dissemination and exchange, to hear and respond to the needs of our essential community services sector, to facilitate collaboration, and as an advocate for the needs of our sector and service users.
Annual Report 2018-2019
This year, QCOSS celebrates 60 years of service to the community. With the support of the community, community sector, government and many other stakeholders, for 60 years we have led, and continue to lead, the charge for societal change to help shape a better Queensland for all people. 2019 has been no different.
Annual Report 2017-2018
While QCOSS’ vision – for a Queensland free of poverty and disadvantage – remains steadfast, our approach to delivering this is sharply focussed on changing the narrative. During 2017-18, the word ‘change’ became part of our vernacular as we created new approaches to ensure every person in Queensland has a good life. QCOSS is proud to lead this movement for change.
Annual Report 2016-2017
‘A Queensland free of poverty and disadvantage’ is the mantra by which QCOSS undertakes all its operations. During the past 12 months, significant steps have been taken towards the end goal.
