In consultation with our members, QCOSS has made a submission to the Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs on its ‘Growing Child Safe Organisations in Queensland’ consultation paper.

We believe that human rights should be central to any new Child Safe Standards in Queensland. We also believe that the principle of self-determination for Indigenous Community Controlled organisations engaged in child-related work must be respected.
