Job Description:
Infinity Community Solutions Ltd (ICS) is a dynamic, boutique, secular, social purpose organisation motivated to make a difference in the lives of individuals. ICS Residential Care Services apply needs-based thinking to attachment-focused care within a trauma-informed therapeutic milieu.
We work with children, young people and their families (where appropriate) to identify and address therapeutic needs, as well as to support transitions to family-based care settings, or reunification. The multi-disciplinary team includes Care Practitioners, Therapeutic Intervention Workers, Residential Coordinators, Program Managers and the General Manager.
Two opportunities are available:
- One servicing the Brisbane/Moreton Bay region, and
- One servicing the South East and South West region
What you will be doing
- You’ll be responsible for providing clinical services for children and young people with complex needs in statutory out of home care
- Be reviewing clinical plans (therapeutic care plans, positive behaviour support plans), conducting clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions, completing case management tasks, managing and responding to critical incidents and engagement with key stakeholders
- Coach and train carers/parents on child-specific needs and facilitate individual and group/family work

Who we are looking for:
- You’ll have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or an appropriate, relevant qualification.
- Be able to demonstrate your skills and experience in working with children and families, particularly in assisting with the assessment, planning, and support.
- Intermediate ability to use computer IT systems including MS Word and Excel
- Valid working rights in Australia
- Possess a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Have a Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver License
- Ability to apply for any other legislatively required personal history screening as required.
