About the Role

We are currently seeking applications for the permanent full time (37.5 hours per week) role of Parenting Orders Program (POP) Case Coordinator located at our Mackay venue.

The purpose of this role is to provide education and support to individuals to support children to have positive and healthy relationships with both parents during and post separation. This position plays a coordination role specific to clients within the Parenting Orders Program (POP), including intake and assessment, information, advice and referral, and child focused education and skill development.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Undertaking client assessment through intake
  • Developing and implementing case management plans for clients, whilst maintaining client focused practice
  • Delivering education to groups and individuals, including separated parents or other person’s impacted by separation (such as grandparents)

About You

To be successful in this position, you will

  • Possess a relevant undergraduate qualification in the social or behavioural sciences, paired with experience working with families in high conflict situations.
  • Have theoretical and demonstrated knowledge of the impact of trauma and conflictual situations on the care, behaviour and development of children and their needs, and
  • Have knowledge, understanding and application of current and relevant legislations and regulations relating to family law and domestic violence.

The salary is being offered between $84,426.28 to $96,580.61 per annum, to be negotiated depending upon qualifications and experience, plus superannuation. We also offer our employees as follows:
