Australian Government – Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship Program: Multicultural Peak Body Funding
The Multicultural Peak Body Funding Program grant opportunity will enable national multicultural peak bodies to work in partnership with the Australian Government to strengthen Australia’s multicultural capacity and promote a greater understanding and acceptance of Australia’s diversity.

Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021-2031 – National Disability Conference Initiative 2025-26
The National Disability Conference Initiative provides funding of up to $10,000 to conference organisers to help people with disability participate in nationally focused, disability-related, conferences held in Australia.
Applications are now open and close 9:00 pm AEDT on Tuesday, 28 January 2025.
Australian Government – Youth Empowerment Program
The Youth Empowerment Program will provide funding of $28.377 million to organisations for programs for youth aged 10 to 17 who are engaged in, or at-risk of becoming engaged in, criminal and/or anti-social behaviour. It is expected that activities will be aimed at the participation of young people at-risk aged between 10 to17 to reduce the incidence of low-level engagement in criminal activity and decrease recidivism rates.
RACQ Foundation: Community Recovery & Resilience Grants
RACQ Foundation has introduced a new resilience-based grant category to help Queensland communities prepare for future disasters, with up to $25,000 available for eligible projects.
These grants are open to charities, community groups, sporting organisations and, for the first time, First Nations councils seeking to enhance physical, nature-based, or social resilience.
Community Recovery Grants are also open for those already impacted, with both grant categories closing on 30 January 2025.
Australian Government: Paid Employment Pathways Package – WorkFoundations
The WorkFoundations grant opportunity aims to fund social enterprises and businesses who can provide tailored, paid employment placements for job seekers facing challenging barriers to employment.
Applications are now open and close 9:00 pm AEDT on Tuesday, 11 February 2025.
Cancer Australia – Supporting People with Cancer Round 16
Cancer Australia’s Supporting People with Cancer Round 16 will fund projects aimed at reducing the impact of cancer and providing better support for people affected by cancer, with a strong focus on achieving equity in cancer outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Australian Government Strong and Resilient Communities Activity – Inclusive Communities grants
Supporting the social and economic participation of vulnerable and disadvantaged people in their communities by providing funding that supports:
- Young people aged 12 to 18 years who are disengaged, or at risk of disengaging, from education to reconnect with their community, school, training and/or employment.
- People with disability to participate in the community, and work towards becoming or remaining independent and engaged in the economy and/or society.
- Women who experience, or are at risk of experiencing, isolation, or discrimination to participate in the community and/or economy and increase their self-agency.
- People who are unemployed to increase participation in their community and/or increase their capacity to engage in employment, training, or existing employment services.
The maximum grant amount is $360,000, with a funding cap of $180,000 per year for each grant. The maximum grant period is 2 years.
2025 NAIDOC Local Grants
The NAIDOC Local Grants provide a co-contribution to the cost of activities and events being held around National NAIDOC Week (6 to 13 July 2025) that celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, achievements and continuing contributions to our country and Australian society. Activities and events should align with the annual National NAIDOC Week theme The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy.
This grant opportunity provides funding to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations to contribute to the costs of local and regional NAIDOC Week activities across Australia.
Non-Indigenous organisations are strongly encouraged to work with their local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in planning activities / events.
Australian Government – Social Enterprise Capability Building Grants
Australian Government’s Social Enterprise Capability Building Grants Program provides funding to social enterprises to help them become more efficient and effective in delivering social benefits to vulnerable Australians.
Funding of up to $120,000 to eligible applicants.
