DFSV Data Insights Network: Data Strategy for Impact
Kerrie will provide an outline of key components of what to include and consider when developing a data strategy, as well as some common pitfalls.
Attendees will be prompted to think about some of the people, processes and systems that can support data maturity and data capability within organisations.
We will share key takeaways on the benefits of how having a data strategy can support DFSV organisations to build a data-driven culture that enables and uplifts data-driven decision making within organisations.
The DFSV Data Insights Network is funded by the Department of Justice and Attorney-General (DJAG). This network provides DFSV service sector staff members across Queensland the opportunity to strengthen their capability and capacity to use, analyse and make meaning of DFSV data.
Women’s Safety, and Victims and Community Support staff from the Department of Justice and Attorney-General, and community service providers with an interest in learning more about DFSV data are also welcome to participate.
The DFSV Data Insights Network will adopt a strengths-based participatory focus that leverages, draws on and values current knowledge, expertise and capabilities that exist within the sector.
The Network will foster and facilitate two-way learning, where participants can share current practices and processes on how they use data to improve outcomes for clients, as well as the network sharing resources and data capability uplift strategies, ideas and tips to improve their practice.
