Demystifying Burnout – Creating a Sustainable Workforce

Registration is closed for this event
Burnout has never been more prevalent than it is today.

While burnout is receiving more attention and resources from organisations, it continues to grow. The root causes of workplace burnout are systemic within the organisation, but there are pervasive myths and misconceptions about workplace burnout that prevent burnout from being properly addressed.

This one-hour session will help participants better understand the impact of burnout on your organisation’s productivity and capability to continue to provide quality services. We will discuss the root causes of burnout and how they can be addressed. Using insights from The State of Burnout 2023 report, we will discuss actionable next steps for your team.

This session will be facilitated by Dr. John Chan. Dr. Chan is the Managing Director of Infinite Potential, an independent non-profit think tank that provides solutions to complex issues through robust research and analysis. Dr. Chan is an industrial/organisational psychologist with 20+ years of global experience in designing people strategies from Silicon Valley start- ups to NYSE and ASX-100 companies. Dr. Chan publishes in academic and media publications and regularly speaks on podcasts and at national and international conferences.
