Building a Data-Driven Culture: Key principles for Community Services leaders

Simply collecting data and reporting is not enough. Community service organisations who foster a data-driven culture throughout the organisation help everyone to understand the importance of data and how it can create a human-centred and learning organisation.
In this hour Dr Ruth Knight, lecturer at QUT’s Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies, will explore some of the key principles for building a data-driven culture including influencing how people talk and think about data. We will discuss whose responsibility it is to lead a culture where people use data effectively to reflect and improve their practice.
