This report presents information on young people under youth justice supervision during 2022–23 who had an interaction with the child protection system in the 10 years from 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2023. Almost 2 in 3 (65%) young people under youth justice supervision in 2022–23 had an interaction with the child protection system in the 10-year period.
