The process of place-based approaches does not occur in a linear or standardised fashion.

Our learning has come from applying these principles and theories and working alongside the community.

We recommended ‘having a go’ and using opportunities to extend your practice through connecting with other practitioners. We hope to start a conversation about the features, principles and process of place-based approaches in Queensland. For practitioners working in Queensland, we have established a Queensland Place-based Community of Practice and look forward to working with others to further develop our collective understandings, frameworks and processes.
