In terms of workforce, Health Care and Social Assistance is the fastest growing industry in Queensland, with an anticipated growth of over 15% (approximately 50,000 workers) by 2022*.
A robust health and community services VET sector is vital in responding to this demand and equipping a workforce that can meet the current and future needs of our people and communities.
This forum will bring together VET training stakeholders who are committed to producing quality training outcomes across human services to:
- Define shared issues impacting quality
- Identify and unpack 'hot topics' for health and community services VET
- Provide input to VET investment and the Training Packages with graduate outcomes and RTO sustainability in mind
This is the first in a series of opportunities to design shared solutions to building our future workforce. Our next step will be to engage industry in this necessary partnership. Join us to consider what is needed to build a sustainable, effective and agile training sector and to set the foundations for an evolution in industry and training sector collaboration.
