This dynamic organisation has been in existence for over 50 years, has a strong membership base and is the state-wide peak body for individuals and organisations working in the social and community services sector. The organisation is a leading force for social change and undertakes informed advocacy and supports a strong community service sector. In recent years, they have taken a positive frame focusing on social and economic well-being.
The position reports to and works closely with the CEO, the senior management team, the board and organisational services team to further the organisation's vision. The role provides strategic and operational oversight to the organisational services functions comprising finance, information technology, risk and compliance (including governance), human resources and quality. This is multi-faceted role also involving you in stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
Experience in leading and managing organisational services and a passion for the sector is sought. You have experience in supporting and developing people across a broad range of functions within an organisation. You enjoy a breadth of role and are the sort of person that sees opportunities and makes things happen. A relevant tertiary qualification will be highly regarded. Company Secretarial responsibilities are also available to the right individual.
