Join the Brisbane Partnerships (Micah Projects, Kyabra, Jabiru and Community Living Association) and the Family Inclusion Network (FINSEQ) on the UN Global Day of Parents, at the Creating Inclusion: Giving Parents a Voice Forum and hear about successful strategies for engaging parents in social policy formulation and implementation to achieve the best outcomes for their children - in education, health and community services. Hear from parents themselves about what works and doesn’t work for them!

A panel of parents, government and non-government representatives will discuss the topic 'Parents as vital in providing protection and positive development for children'.

The Forum will be launched by Hon Shannon Fentiman MP, Minister for Communities, Women and Youth, Minister for Child Safety and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence.

It would be greatly appreciated if you would distribute this information through your networks and support families you work with to attend this special event.

Morning tea and child minding will be provided. Agencies supporting families will be asked to contribute to the cost of child minding.
