Last year approximately 300 members of the community service sector heard first-hand the impact the budget would have on Queenslanders experiencing poverty and disadvantage from the Hon Curtis Pitt MP, Treasurer and Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships and Minister for Sport.

The Hon Curtis Pitt MP will again join us and we will bring you a more in-depth discussion about the 2017/18 Queensland State Budget. We have changed the format based on your feedback and are excited to bring you a panel of speakers including Professor Anne Tiernan from the School of Government and International Relations at Griffith University; Mark Henley CEO of QCOSS; and a sector representative.

HESTA is once again our key supporter of the breakfast and this year we partner with PeakCare Queensland, Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Protection Peak (QATSICPP), Council on the Ageing (COTA) Queensland, Community Services Industry Alliance (CSIA), Queensland Shelter, National Disability Services, Queensland Alliance for Mental Health, Volunteering Queensland and Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN).
